Custom Logs

Custom logs allow team members to submit messages to the ShopView dashboard.

Custom logs include a message that the team member can add, along with event information such as the staff member's ID and the current cart state.

Automatic Information Capture

Custom logs automatically include data related to where the log was submitted from in the point of sale app.

Session Information

  • Current cart contents
  • User details and session data

Contextual Information

Logs include relevant details based on where the team member submits the log from within the point of sale system.

Example

If a team member submits a log while viewing a product page, the log will automatically include the product details, making it easier to understand the context of the submission.
