Required fields
You can mark a field as required when creating it in the admin. ShopFields will highlight the tile to identify to staff a field is required, but still allow for checkouts to be completed.

It is still possible to complete a checkout even if a required field is missing.
When creating an order in the point of sale app, if any required fields are missing, the Tile will be highlighted.
If your tile has not been assigned a field, the badge value of the tile will indicate the number of missing field values.
To catch orders that are created without a required field, you can also use Shopify Flow to send an alert or take further action.
