Data Collection and Storage​

In order to show your store event activity, we do need to store logs. To ensure you and your customers' data is not at risk, we limit our use of the Shopify Admin API to only request products.

Data Protection

We have no ability to see or store sensitive order or customer information. Instead, Shopify provides us with the unique ID of the item which we link to in your Shopify admin.

In addition, we adhere to Shopify's GDPR and deletion request requirements.

Infrastructure and Security​

Gadget.dev provides us with a secure, scalable service to handle our:

  • Authentication
  • Data storage
  • API requests
  • Other necessary hosting components

We follow their best practices and use provided features like tenancy, computed views, and Autocomponents to keep the app running smoothly.
