How tile updates work

ShopFields tiles in Shopify POS use the settings you create in ShopFields. Those settings control how the tile behaves, including which tile is shown.

When you change a tile setting, the update usually appears automatically in Shopify POS after a short delay.

Changes to tile settings can take a few minutes to appear in Shopify POS.

If your changes do not appear right away

You cannot force a tile update to happen immediately from ShopFields or Shopify POS.

If you need the new setting to appear sooner, try one of these options:

In Shopify POS, remove the ShopFields tile from the screen, then add it again. This often refreshes the tile with your latest settings.Close and reopen the Shopify POS app on the device to help it load the latest tile settings.If you recently changed which tile should be shown, wait a few minutes first before troubleshooting. In many cases, the update will appear on its own.

Troubleshooting checklist

  • Confirm that you saved your tile settings in ShopFields.
  • Wait a few minutes for Shopify POS to update automatically.
  • Remove and re-add the tile if you need the change sooner.
  • Restart the Shopify POS app if the tile still shows the old version.
